I especially loved QTE in Detroit: BH, which The Order 1886 has too, I just love that game mechanic, it's so exciting to me! Of course, in The Order, if you miss or press the wrong buttons, it doesn't has an effect on the story, you just die, but I still like the challenge of pressing the right buttons at the right time.

Order 1886 was a wrong game at the wrong time. Had it been released years later at cheaper price ,it would have garnered more positive recepction. It was too short for for AAA game, gameplay sections were pretty limited and most of the time it looked like glorified tech demo all this sold at full price.

The Order: 1886 feels like the perfect balance between story, gameplay, and atmosphere as Ready at Dawn has struck gold with its first attempt at an original IP. There may not be much to do after the credits begin to roll, but once they do, you’ll be met with a unique story told within an absolutely gorgeous game.

Jun 8, 2020 · Given the similar aesthetic and the brand loyalty Fromsoft had cultivated up to that point, it's no wonder The Order: 1886's highly cinematic experience (a very common complain for PS4 titles) didn't stack up. This was also 2 years into the console's life, a period where "PS4 has no games" was a popular sentiment.

The order 1886 was a good game, the setting was good, the atmosphere was great, the combat (awful QTE though)was good, the graphics were phenomenal, and story was beging to be great, and I want a sequel. (Also the uniforms were fucking amazing) But the problem is, it's half a game that was sold as a full priced game.
