Tesla said it was very difficult to assign valuation since it is a collector's car. I looked online and people are pricing them anywhere from $90k to 1.5 million!

Sep 25, 2013 · Tesla sells CPO Roadsters with 3 year / 36,000 mile warranties for quite a bit less than what Roadsters were selling for 3 or 4 months ago. It's hard for a non CPO Roadster to compete with that, since the CPO Roadster is cheaper, reconditioned to like new condition and warrantied against $40k battery replacements and $8k PEM replacements.

Nov 22, 2018 · After 4 years of time wasted building a still-unfinished Cybertruck, I am concerned about resources focusing on the roadster. Mostly because Tesla needs the low-cost vehicle more than a new toy for the rich. Also; a rocket needs fuel, as in some sort of petrol. How does one justify Tesla making a hybrid that relies on fuel?

Dec 9, 2024 · Side note, driving the roadster everyday would be a pain in the butt. All the common Tesla rattles that happen in the back seat are going to be even closer to the driver. Plus, take note of how Tesla handled the early reservation holders for the cybertruck. Same thing will probably happen with the roaster

I recently had some charging issues with the original battery in my 1.5, and Tesla quoted me a high price and an ambiguous time-frame to replace the battery.
