Kawaki left the village for sacrificing himself and make a deal with Code. Argue all you want if Kawaki hadn't left the village Momo would have resurrected in Boruto now no one can stop him. Momo himself said the pills were nothing but a stop gap. No body thought of an actual solution with what was given. Not Sasuke not Naruto.
