A severe thunderstorm warning was released by the NWS Fort Worth TX on Tuesday at 5:29 p.m. in effect until 6 p.m. The warning is for Dallas, Kaufman and Rockwall counties.

DALLAS - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for parts of North Texas on Tuesday evening. The warnings were issued until 6 p.m. in Dallas County and Johnson County. There is a chance for more storms later in the evening.

A few showers started to pop up out west in the Everglades and briefly in Palmetto Bay shortly after 1 p.m. Then, a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for parts of Miami-Dade County until 2:15 p.m. A wind gust of 60 mph and small hail was detected in that storm.
