The NJSIAA individual wrestling championships got started Thursday at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City with 32 wrestlers competing in each weight class. Here are the full results from the boys' championship brackets. (1) Cameron Sontz (Delbarton) d. (2) Charles Esposito (St. Joseph Montvale), 4-2.

North Jersey advanced 22 wrestlers to the boys quarterfinals, led by St. Joseph with 10 and Bergen Catholic with six. New Milford's Devin Ryan will be the lone public-school representative when he faces St. John Vianney three-time state champ Anthony Knox on Friday at 126.
