Sony is launching a new PlayStation beta program to offer “an easier, more consolidated way for gamers to sign up to participate in future PlayStation betas across a wide range of PlayStation experiences,” according to a blog post by Sony’s Sid Shuman.

Sony has run a number of PlayStation beta programs over the years, including one that lets folks try new PS5 features before they go live for everyone. The company is now making it easier to sign up for the chance to be invited to future beta tests as you'll only need to register once.

Via a PlayStation Blog post, Sony has announced their new Beta Program, an initiative to provide fans with a one-time registration to test a variety of future game releases on PS5 and PC, as well as new system features and updates. The goal of the Beta Program is to make it easier for players to express interest in future tests.
