Phillip Schofield has addressed his “haters” following the final episode of his comeback series Cast Away. The disgraced This Morning presenter made his return to television this week on the Channel 5 show Cast Away, which saw the 62-year-old spend 10 days on an island off the coast of Madagascar.

Phillip Schofield has hit back at his haters after his TV return received a mixed response. The former This Morning presenter appeared in a three-part series for Channel 5 titled Cast Away where he reflected on the tumultuous events of the past two years.

Schofield, 62, left his role as a daytime TV presenter on the beloved show beside Holly Willoughby after it transpired he had embarked upon an affair with a much younger male colleague. The presenter publicly came out as gay in 2020 and received an outpouring of support.

The Gogglebox crew said Phillip Schofield 'threw yourself under the bus' as they were asked to react to his latest TV appearance.
