Sam Fender has returned with the announcement of his forthcoming third studio album, People Watching. Sam Fender produced the album alongside bandmates Dean Thompson and Joe Atkinson over two years, working firstly in London in 2023 with producer Markus Dravs, and then earlier this year in Los Angeles with The War on Drugs’ Adam Granduciel.

To introduce the new record, Fender shares its title track, which was produced in Los Angeles alongside The War on Drugs’ Adam Granduciel. The song was written for his late friend and mentor, Annie Orwin, and is based on Fender’s thoughts as he travelled to and from her palliative care home.
