Pittsburgh Public Safety announced Thursday the incident that saw a fan fall from the right field bleachers onto the field of play during Wednesday's game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago Cubs at PNC Park "is being treated as accidental in nature."

A fan at the Pirates-Cubs game on Wednesday at PNC Park in Pittsburgh fell over the outfield wall and landed on the playing field.

A man who fell from the 21-foot-high Clemente Wall in right field at PNC Park during Wednesday night’s game remained in critical condition on Thursday morning.
