Stars are having fun on their way into the Oscars. Best supporting actress nominee Ariana Grande, dressed in a baby pink gown with a tulle skirt, and Elle Fanning, in lacy white, held hands and laughed as they arrived.

That gigantic edifice, “The Brutalist.” These and five more films are up for the top prize at an Oscars that could go almost any way — not just with best picture but in the director and lead actor categories.

Grande first delivered a moonlit rendition of “Over the Rainbow,” which Judy Garland famously sang as Dorothy in the movie “The Wizard of Oz.” Erivo then belted her version of “Home” from the 1975 Broadway musical “The Wiz,” a Dorothy number originally performed by Stephanie Mills onstage and by Diana Ross in the 1978 film adaptation.

But the Oscars always bring a little something extra special to close out the season, and this year was no different. We've rounded up the very best (and worst) moments from the 2025 broadcast, hosted by Conan O'Brien.
