Ohio State has its replacement for outgoing defensive coordinator Jim Knowles, and it's a familiar face for NFL fans.

Less than a month after Jim Knowles left Ohio State for the same defensive coordinator role at Penn State, the Buckeyes' new-look staff is beginning to come together for this fall under coach Ryan Day.

In recent years, he promoted Keenan Bailey and Laurinatis to full-time jobs, and they have thrived. Bailey, who just wrapped up his second year as Ohio State’s tight ends coach, has revamped that entire position after Cade Stover left.
