A 44-year-old man was arrested by the Charleston police and charged with murder related to a Saturday evening incident that left one person dead.

Authorities suspected her alleged partner, Jayme Ryan McKinney, 44, of Charleston. He was booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center on April 1 and charged with murder, according to Charleston police.
