Taylor Hawkins' son Shane has been announced to tour with Chevy Metal – despite rumours he would be joining the Foo Fighters.

Taking after his dad, the 18-year-old drummer is taking a shot at living that rock star lifestyle. He recently announced that he will be joining Chevy Metal on their 2025 summer tour this July.

The son of former Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, Shane Hawkins, will tour with his father's cover band Chevy Metal across the US this summer.

Rumours were rife that Shane would be stepping behind the kit for Dave Grohl and co, however, he's actually about to embark on a tour with his late father's covers band, Chevy Metal, in July.
