There were a handful of Phillies prospects who got their feet wet with the Reading Fightin Phils at the end of last season.

Justin Crawford and Aidan Miller were selected as first-round picks by the Phillies a year apart from each other, but their bond is more than just being No. 1 picks for the same organization.

Most notably, the Phillies number two prospect Aidan Miller. Alongside him, pitchers Jean Cabrera, Moisés Chace, Christian McGowan, and catcher Caleb Ricketts all got at least some AA action in 2024.

Miller was selected 27th overall in the 2023 MLB Draft, coming out of high school as a decorated shortstop from Florida. He is currently the second-ranked prospect in the Phillies’ organization.
