Hawaiʻi Police Department is investigating a fatal vehicle fire in the Hawaiʻi Ocean View Estate subdivision on the afternoon of April 13.

The County of Maui Department of Water Supply has issued a Stage 1 water shortage for consumers in the Upcountry service area, which includes restrictions surrounding water use.
