Tesla said on Thursday it is recalling 46,096 Cybertruck vehicles in the U.S. over an exterior panel that can detach while driving, after more than six call-backs for the pickups last year.

Tesla this week recalled just over 46,000 Cybertrucks due to the trim issue. "The cant rail, a stainless-steel exterior trim panel, can delaminate and detach from the vehicle," according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notice.

Tesla Inc. recalled all the Cybertrucks it produced and sold in the first 15 months it’s been on the US market over a safety issue it’s having trouble resolving.
