Tampa Bay Times reporters describe what it’s like at Steinbrenner and around Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg.

They'll be hosting all 81 of their home games in the New York Yankees' Steinbrenner Field, the largest spring training park in Florida that hosts the Yankees for the preseason every year and is home to the Tampa Tarpons.

It was not until after the final Grapefruit League game at Steinbrenner Field that a team of more than 200 workers was able to change signage from Yankees to Rays.
