The $499 Pixel 9A is a follow-up to one of our favorite phones from 2024, the Pixel 8A. Google kept the price under $500 and added a big, 5,100-mAh battery.

Well, we have a Pixel 9a release date now. The phone launches in the U.S., U.K. and Canada on April 10 before rolling out to 23 European countries on April 14. In Australia, you'll be able to get the Pixel 9a on April 16, with the phone eventually coming to Japan. (Google didn't list a date for that country.)

Interested in a Google Pixel 9a? Pre-orders, originally set to start on Wednesday, March 19, are now expected to open sometime in the coming weeks, according to Google. The exact on-shelf date, originally planned for March 26, is now set for an April release.
