It’s time for something brand new, while still offering that classic Mario Kart familiarity. Plus I think I saw a brief shot of the infamous Luigi death glare, which pleases me immensely.

That said, at its core, it should maintain a level of loyalty to the title, and add more characters from the greater Mario series, including some who weren't present in Mario Kart 8 and its DLC.
