As spring training opens across Major League Baseball, the Red Sox and Cardinals are reportedly re-engaged on a potential Nolan Arenado trade.

Nolan Arenado, whose defense at third base ranks among the all-time greats, may still join the Boston Red Sox as trade talks continued Tuesday night.

In addition to being one of the teams in pursuit of Bregman, the Red Sox have also been connected to Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado on the rumor mill. Arenado, who has three years and $74 million left on his contract, would have to waive his no-trade clause to facilitate any deal.
