New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner won the toss and opted to bat against Pakistan in the opening match of a tri-nation series in Lahore on Saturday. The match is taking place at the newly-renovated Gaddafi Stadium, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif last night in a dazzling ceremony with music performances.

As hosts Pakistan begin their preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, they take on New Zealand in the 1st ODI of the tri-series tournament which also includes South Africa. The match will be played at the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
