Matt Patricia is expected to be named Ohio State football defensive coordinator. Patricia was head coach of the Detroit Lions in 2018-20.

Patricia was reportedly in Columbus this week, meeting with Ohio State about its vacant defensive coordinator position.

The reigning national champions, the Ohio State Buckeyes, are reportedly set to hire a former Detroit Lions head coach who had a disastrous tenure over two-plus seasons with the team.

"The Lions are not there. The teams who are there, I couldn't care less if they win or lose. ... I'll be doing laundry," one fan said.
