Transportation leaders in North Texas say they'll "continue the conversation" with private partners over a proposed bullet train between Dallas and Houston.

The U.S. Department of Transportation called the proposed rail line that would get passengers from Dallas to Houston in less than 90 minutes a "risky venture."
