LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles FC coach Steve Cherundolo is leaving the club after the 2025 season, he announced Friday.

Cherundolo, who has won MLS Cup, the Supporters' Shield and U.S. Open Cup as LAFC manager, will leave at season's end.

The club's winningest coach said that in the best interests of his family it is time to return to Germany, where he played as a pro for Hannover 96.
