Two women were shot along Philadelphia's Ben Franklin Parkway while crowds gathered to celebrate the Super Bowl LIX victory parade on Friday.

The shooting occurred on the 2300 block of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, not far from where Eagles players were making speeches on the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps.

Hoffman, a 44-year-old man from Philadelphia, was incarcerated in 2018 when the Eagles won their first Super Bowl against the New England Patriots, and he regretted not being able to celebrate with his family that year.
