The Steelers have talked up adding Metcalf, who they view as a dynamic player down the field, and paired with Pickens, could be the premier field-stretching duo in the NFL. Yet, it will have to come with a level-headedness in the locker room that would work week in and week out.

Speaking to The Athletic's Mike Sando, one league executive said they "can’t think of a worse combination" for Rodgers than playing with DK Metcalf, George Pickens and working with offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.

Even with Aaron Rodgers almost certainly joining the team this offseason, the Pittsburgh Steelers very well may draft a quarterback.
