The Oklahoma City Thunder have seen Chet Holmgren return to the fold against the Toronto Raptors and Mark Daigneault has debuted his starting five for the first time with Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein available.

Holmgren, who’s been out since Nov. 10 after suffering a right iliac wing fracture in his pelvis, teased his return on social media. He sustained the hip injury after taking a hard fall on a block attempt in the first quarter of a 127-116 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

Instead of the flashy deal fans have fantasized about ala Cam Johnson, the Thunder will get their version of a mid-season acquisition with Chet Holmgren's return. Nearly three months after he suffered a hip fracture, the 22-year-old is set to return against the Toronto Raptors on Friday.
