The group Oasis announced Thursday that a film will be produced as the band goes out on a reunion tour this year, created and produced by Steven Knight (“Peaky Blinders,” “Locke”) and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace ("Meet Me in the Bathroom").

Oasis have announced a new reunion tour film to be created and produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight.

Oasis have announced that their upcoming reunion shows will be the subject of a film called Live ’25. It will be produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace who were behind the LCD Soundsystem concert film Shut Up and Play the Hits.

An Oasis movie produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight will be made in conjunction with the band's reunion tour. The Britpop band, who split in 2009 prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival, confirmed their long-awaited reunion in August 2024.

Steven Knight—the creator of Peaky Blinders and recent Hulu series A Thousand Blows—is on board to produce. The film will be directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, who’ve already made a name for themselves as rockumentary directors.

But it's not what anyone expected from Knight, and technically, the movie will be a documentary. Or, perhaps call that a rockumentary. It turns out Knight will be producing the new concert film Oasis Live '25,
