Joe Greiner, who recently split with Max Homa, will caddie this week for Justin Thomas, who said Tuesday night that his usual caddie, Matt "Rev" Minister, hurt his back and is unable to be on his bag for the Masters.

After a disappointing 2023, Thomas has enjoyed a career revival over the past year, entering Augusta at No. 8 in the Official World Golf Ranking and No. 9 in the FedEx Cup standings. This will be his ninth Masters start, with his best finish a fourth-place showing in 2020.

Greiner, who split with longtime boss Max Homa a week ago, is subbing on the bag for the two-time PGA Championship winner.
