The 2025 men's NCAA tournament began with 68 teams looking to raise a banner and write their name into college basketball history. The Auburn Tigers, the overall No. 1 seed in the South, are looking to avenge their SEC tournament loss and claim the title as the best team in the country,

CBS Sports and TNT Sports will combine to provide live coverage of all 67 games from the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Basketball competition officially tipped Tuesday night on truTV with the First Four contested in Dayton, Ohio and concludes with the NCAA Championship Game April 7 in San Antonio on CBS.

Al Wood and Carmelo Anthony put their respective teams on their back offensively in the Final Four en route to the national championship game. Gilbert Arenas and Jeff Withey, meanwhile, dominated defensively. Freddie Banks and Mark Wade even set records during the same game.

Since March Madness expanded to 64 teams in 1985, the only other year that all four top-seeded teams from their respective regions earned Final Four spots was 2008. That year, Kansas won a national title with an overtime victory over Memphis.

After the first three tickets were punched for this week's Final Four, the final spot in the national semifinals will be filled Sunday with the last Elite Eight game between Auburn and Michigan State.

Oddly enough, the Alamodome was also the venue the only other time all four No. 1 seeds made the Final Four. In 2008, Kansas toppled Memphis in overtime to win Bill Self’s first national title, tying the game in the final seconds of regulation with a Mario Chalmers 3-pointer after Derrick Rose missed a potential clinching free throw.

The NCAA tournament's greatest moments in history have been manufactured by teams that crashed the party. Cinderella teams are often the most entertaining participants each year, with the likes of George Mason, Saint Peter's, Oakland, Mercer, Norfolk State and other underdogs creating lasting, grand memories in March.

Houston jumped to a big lead by limiting Tennessee, and the Cougars cruised past the Volunteers to advance to their Final Four since 2021.
