Florida’s attorney general has filed a lawsuit against FEMA after a now-fired employee advised her team to avoid homes with President-elect Donald Trump campaign signs in their yards. FEMA officials say this clearly violated the agency’s core values and principles.

The official, who has since been fired, said she was merely following protocol to avoid potentially hostile encounters.
