The son of former Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, Shane Hawkins, will tour with his father's cover band Chevy Metal across the US this summer.

A few days after drummer Josh Freese claimed to have been thrown out of Foo Fighters, rumors sparked that Shane Hawkins was going to replace him.
