During his four seasons with the Vikings, Ponder went 14-21-1 as the starter, completing 59.8% of his passes for 6,658 yards and 38 touchdowns to 36 interceptions. Despite leading the Vikings to the postseason in 2012, he could never live up to his expectations and was eventually replaced by Matt Cassel and Teddy Bridgewater.
