California Highway Patrol officers are chasing a suspect in a silver sedan through Los Angeles County. The pursuit began in the Lynwood area around 11:30 a.m. Eyewitness News was told the suspect is wanted for some sort of criminal threat in Alhambra.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, just after 1 p.m., a suspect got into a white Chevy pickup truck after abandoning a red pickup, then headed on the northbound 710 Freeway in East Los Angeles. The truck came to a stop on the right shoulder, where someone got out and surrendered to police.
