Two detainees escaped from the ICE detention facility Tuesday – ICE authorities said they notified local law enforcement who "declined to assist with the search."

Two people who were detained at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Aurora have escaped and officials are hoping people can help find them.

On Tuesday, dozens of people rallied in support of immigrant rights activist Jeanette Vizguerra, who was reportedly taken into Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody the day before.
