The New York Jets have their defensive coordinator for Aaron Glenn. The team has reportedly tabbed veteran, longtime NFL coach and coordinator Steve Wilks as the DC for Glenn’s coaching staff, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero: The #Jets have agreed to terms with Steve Wilks as their defensive coordinator, per sources.

Glenn was hired as the next head coach of the Jets earlier this month after a four-year run as the Detroit Lions’ defensive coordinator. The Jets fired head coach Robert Saleh in the middle of last season. Glenn said earlier this week that he will not call defensive plays, so that will presumably fall to Wilks.

The Dallas Cowboys are set to hire Klayton Adams as their next offensive coordinator, NFL Network reported. He interviewed twice for the role under new coach Brian Schottenheimer.

In addition to Adams, the Cowboys also interviewed Detroit Lions running backs coach Scottie Montgomery and Atlanta Falcons tight ends coach Kevin Koger. They also had talks with former Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey.

On Friday, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported the Cowboys are hiring Arizona Cardinals offensive line coach Klayton Adams as their new offensive coordinator. That comes a few days after Dallas brought on former Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus as their new defensive coordinator.
