Jiri Kulich scored twice, including the go-ahead goal with 2:04 left, and the Buffalo Sabres overcame blowing a two-goal lead in a 4-3 win over the Nashville Predators.
Kulich scored at 17:56 to give the Sabres a 4-3 lead. He raced down the left side, received Tage Thompson’s feed from the right point and ripped his second goal of the night – and 11th of the season – between Annunen and the near-side post.
The Predators lost 3-1 to the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday, thwarted by Thatcher Demko's 31 saves. They remain in seventh place in the Central Division, six points ahead of the Chicago Blackhawks, and are 14 points out of the final wild card spot.
