According to reports, the Boston Bruins and Brad Marchand are still engaged in negotiations, but the door remains open for a possible trade.

After already making a deal with the Bruins to acquire Trent Frederic, Nugent-Bowman wonders if the Oilers should go back to Boston and do more trade business. Nugent-Bowman goes on to add that the Oilers haven’t found out yet if John Klingberg can handle the second-pair minutes on the right side. As such, an upgrade is needed.

According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, the Winnipeg Jets are interested in Boston Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo.

The Bruins announced on Tuesday afternoon that Trent Frederic and Max Jones have been traded to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick, a 2026 fourth-round pick, and defenseman Max Wanner.
