NCAA Indoor national champion and 2024 NCAA Indoor runner-up, enter the 2025 national championship meet in Virginia next week with the leading number of entries at 16 in 12 events.

Two-time defending NCAA Indoor champion Arkansas will carry a No. 1 national ranking into the 2025 national championship meet in Virginia next week with a leading number of 13 entries in nine events.

The UNC basketball team completely throttled Virginia Tech on Tuesday night. Aa a result, North Carolina jumped from 43rd to 38th in the NET rankings.

The men’s college basketball postseason has officially arrived with the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament beginning Sunday. Several other conference championships will begin throughout the week and run through Selecton Sunday on March 16. The SEC Tournament is March 12-16 in Nashville, Tenn.

The quartet finished with a time of 9:14.19. The race was fairly close, and there was some movement between the teams until Martin pulled away in the last few laps of the 1600. Not only did the Virginia runners break the facility, meet, ACC, and Virginia school record, they also set a new NCAA record .

On Friday afternoon in Fayetteville at the Arkansas Qualifier, the Virginia Cavaliers became the latest squad to notch a record, setting a new collegiate all-time mark in the men's distance medley relay of 9:14.19. That surpasses the previous record of 9:16.40 mark set by Oklahoma State back in 2023.

Friday at the Arkansas Qualifier in Fayetteville, Ark., Virginia track and field captured a legendary title — the NCAA record in the men’s distance medley relay. Graduate student Wes Porter, senior Alex Sherman, graduate student Conor Murphy and junior Gary Martin finished with a time of 9:14.19.

The Cavaliers are set to compete in three meets this weekend including the Arkansas Qualifier, Terrier DMR Challenge and Virginia Tech Challenge (Feb. 21-22)
