According to deputies, around 10:50 a.m., the dog was on the scene of a SWAT roll in the 2000 block of Estalote Avenue, in Harvey where the K-9, Macho, suffered a medical emergency while the suspect was being apprehended. Deputies took the dog to a Metairie area vet where he was pronounced dead.
