Des Moines police have arrested two people after three armed robberies were reported over 30 minutes on Saturday. 36-year-old Clayton Joseph Sanders and 23-year-old Neveah Jeaniya Burks were charged with three counts of first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit a forcible felony and persons ineligible to carry dangerous weapons.
On Thursday, Jan. 2, officers were attempting to locate 32-year-old Charquan Mylick Hargrove. Hargrove had active felony warrants out for his arrest for offenses including Domestic Abuse Assault and Felon In Possession of A Firearm.
The charges come from an incident in the early morning hours of March 24, 2024, when first responders were dispatched to a social club in the 600 block of East Fifth Street for a reported shooting.
