LeBron James ' decision to join the Miami Heat to team up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh remains one of the most talked about in NBA history. One of the major reasons behind that move might have been one man: Kobe Bryant.

Wade would join the Chicago Bulls in 2016 after failing to agree on an extension with the Heat. Later, he would sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers to reunite with former teammate LeBron James before ultimately returning to Miami to end his legendary career where it needed to happen.

Dwyane Wade was one of the best players in the NBA throughout the 2010s, securing two championships alongside LeBron James and Chris Bosh.

Wade explains that it started when they were boarding the plane to head back to Maimi, and they started their ritual of playing cards with each other. He remembers that, like clockwork, during the game, James would ask someone to bring him his dessert of choice: chocolate chip cookies.

NBA legend Dwyane Wade knew LeBron James could leave the Miami Heat when Pat Riley took his cookies on the plane.  LeBron left the Heat for the Cleveland Cavaliers in the summer of 2014.  LeBron cried in Randy Mims’ driveway a month after leaving the Cavaliers for the Heat in 2010.
