Barkley is near the top of the short list of all-time great Philadelphia sports free-agent signings. He ran for 2,005 yards, rips off 60-yard scoring runs with the ease of a Joel Embiid layup and has turned the offense into its most elite dual threat since the halcyon days of Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens.

He was signed back to the practice squad in December before the yo-yo existence continued as he was waived on Dec. 31.

Only two Super Bowls ago, it was unimaginable that Barkley would go from being the face of the New York Giants to playing for the Philadelphia Eagles-- much less leading them to another Super Bowl.

The offseason addition of Saquon Barkley helped elevate a sluggish offense for the Philadelphia Eagles and lead the team to a Super Bowl. The star running back would have company in delivering a title if the Eagles win.
