Abbas Shafii, a 79-year-old from Beaverton, Oregon, won a Powerball ticket worth of $328.5 million and plans to use some of the money to travel.

Two Powerball tickets sold in California won $38,848 each but just missed the $279 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The tickets matched four of five winning numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Monday, March 3, the California Lottery said.
