Fire destroyed several structures Thursday evening on the grounds of the Renaissance Festival, but officials say they expect to open on schedule later this summer.

SHAKOPEE, Minn. — Multiple fire crews are responding to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival as multiple buildings on the site have been destroyed. SKY 11 captured the scene from above, which shows the buildings burned to the ground.
