Three people were arrested in connection with a series of homicides in California and Pennsylvania as well as the shooting death earlier this year in Vermont of a U.S. border patrol agent.

The "Zizian" group, which has roots in the San Francisco Bay Area, has been the focus of a multistate probe as investigators allege members are tied to a half-dozen killings in three states.

According to charging documents, the trio was observed trespassing on a property while dressed in all black. The group allegedly asked a resident if they could camp in the area for about a month, but they were told to leave.

Jack Lasota, 34 and Michelle Zajko, 33, were arrested by Maryland State Police after investigators say they were tied to a group called ‘the Zizians’ which is linked to multiple homicides.
