Carson Hocevar drove his No. 7 Chevrolet to a thrilling finish and won the Heart of Health Care 200 auto race under the lights at Kansas Speedway on Saturday evening. Hocevar started the NASCAR Crafstman Truck Series race from the No. 4 position; Jake Garcia was on the pole.

Heim was pressed into service last year as a substitute for Legacy Motor Club driver Erik Jones, who suffered a compression fracture at Talladega Superspeedway. He made his Cup debut at Dover, followed by races at Kansas (still subbing for Jones) and Nashville (for 23XI).

The history of NASCAR spans 77 years, and within that time frame, only 11 races have been held on Mother’s Day, including this Sunday. And to make this lucky number 11 race even more special, it is also the first time a Mother’s Day race has occurred at Kansas Speedway.

Bell ran top five much of the day at Kansas. He finished third in the first stage, fifth in the second stage and then finished second in the race. This was his sixth top five of the season and eighth top 10. The JGR driver was really never a threat to win, but he was there if Larson had trouble.
