Dallas Police responded Saturday afternoon to reports of a fight at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, where the NCA All-Star National Championship was being held. A police log showed at least 26 units responding to the incident at about 1 p.

The NCA national cheerleading championships were back on at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center on Sunday – 24 hours after the event was evacuated in a scene of chaos and confusion.

A fight between two people during a cheerleading event in downtown Dallas led to panic and the evacuation of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. Dallas police said the two people knocked over poles that created a loud noise and there were multiple non-life-threatening injuries as people ran from the event.
