While Warriors head coach Steve Kerr could play Kuminga in the 2025 NBA playoffs, most league observers believe Kuminga needs a change of scenery. With that being said, one NBA analyst proposed that a lowly Eastern Conference team trade for Kuminga this summer when the forward becomes a restricted free agent.

Bleacher Report’s Andy Bailey predicts the Dubs will swap Kuminga for a Sacramento Kings center who averaged 10.4 points per contest this season in a massive three-team trade. "A rebuilding team like the (Washington) Wizards may be loathe to include a draft pick, but Kuminga is the biggest individual prize in this deal,” Bailey wrote Friday.

He's right. Sacramento started LaVine, DeRozan, Murray and Keon Ellis with Sabonis in that play-in loss. And since there's no way to walk back the De'Aaron Fox trade, the Kings are probably looking at distressed assets to remedy this situation (or at least make it a little better).
