Pavia finished the win over Alabama with two touchdowns on 252 yards, completing 16-of-20 pass attempts. He also added 56 yards on the ground. His No. 1 pass catcher was 6-foot-4 tight end Eli Stowers, who ended the game with six receptions and 113 yards.

Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia discussed knocking off No. 1 Alabama on Saturday on the SEC Network, which included dropping an F-Bomb live on air.

Alabama had beaten Vanderbilt 23 straight times. The last time the Commodores downed the Crimson Tide was Sept. 19, 1984. On that day, Vandy won, 30-21, in Tuscaloosa. That game was Alabama’s first homecoming loss in 26 years.
